Our Mission

The mission of Cleveland Fine Art Boudoir by Julianna is to help busy women take a break from their everyday hustle to reconnect and better believe in their beauty.

We will help women see the impact a boudoir shoot can have on their self image, internal dialog & instill confidence that has the power to change their life and the lives of those around them.

We will do this by giving our clients a life changing experience, gorgeous portraits of themselves to have for a lifetime and sharing their story in order to reach out & help other women struggling with their body image.

We will know we are successful each time we help a client go from lacking confidence and negative internal dialog to skipping out of our studio with confidence and going forward boldly to better impact the world.

Hey! I’m Juli! Obviously, I’m a photographer. I mean that’s why you’re here right? But let me tell you a little bit more about me as a human being.

I LOVE helping people. I get so much joy and satisfaction in my life knowing that I am helping others. I help people through my art but I am also a Nurse. I am passionate about holistically empowering people! I believe boudoir is just one peice to the puzzle of body acceptance.
I am a cat lover. I have 4 cats. Burger, Hocus, Pocus and Tig. I also have a dog, Squirrely.
I love arts and crafts, some of those being: watercolor painting, weaving, embroidery, and random pinterest finds. Huge fan of Great British Bake Off.
BREAD, I love bread and pizza. Donuts are good too cause they are basically like fried dough.
When I was a little girl, I was a girl scout and I freaking loved it. I had like 30 patches, I was crappy at selling boxes of cookies, but I loved camping. As an adult, I love traveling, camping, the mountain, and collecting pins/keychains from the places I visit.
I’ve struggled with loving my body my entire life. I’ve gained 100 pounds, lost 100 pounds and gained it back again. I’ve got lump, bumps, scars, stretch marks, just like you. Just know, you’re not alone, everyone struggles with worrying about if they are good enough or not. I help people see they are beautiful in the skin they are in.

self confidence

I’m about to share with you the secret to self confidence I’ve discovered after being a photographer.

After photographing hundreds of women for boudoir portraits, I’ve found one thing most women have in common before their photo shoot.

Most women show up to the shoot thinking they won’t look as good as the women on my website, that they need to lose 10 pounds first, that they’re “not photogenic,” or that they won’t love the photos of themselves. This is common, sadly, most women don’t believe in their beauty….yet.

I’ve also found one thing every woman I’ve photographed has in common at the end of their photoshoot…. complete self confidence.

I did a short study with my clients and 8/10 women all told me they were NERVOUS before the photoshoot. When asked how they felt after their session. They all comment they felt comfortable!

So what is it about a boudoir shoot that can change so many women’s perspectives of themselves?

I believe the answer is: investing in yourself, stepping out of your comfort zone, and seeing yourself through somebody else's eyes (and lens).

In the beginning of each of my photo shoots, I show my client one of the first photos we take from the back of my digital camera. This photo is untouched, unedited, just straight out of camera.

I’ve had reactions ranging from disbelief, to thrilled shrieks, to happy tears.

This is the first moment of them believing in their beauty.

This truly is life changing stuff.

After this initial step my clients only gain more and more confidence throughout the shoot, it’s a complete blast. The whole day feels like a fun girls day...and they end up with empowerment, raised confidence, and beautiful artwork from the day.
